Pattern Making
Project 1:Dress
My dress was featured in the Iowa State 2025 Fashion Show! For this project, we learned how to make a bodice and skirt slope, plus we learned how to manipulate the slopers to add different elements to the top or the bottom. I made the top of the dress using a princess seam, and made the bottom a flared skirt.

Project 2:Blazer, Blouse, and shorts sets
For this project, we were required to design, develop flat pattern
pieces, and construct a set. I created a matching navy blue spring/summer blazer with shorts. For the blouse, I created a cropped blouse with bell sleeves and a Peter Pan collar with crisper edges. The back of the blouse is left open and closed by 3 buttons on the top center back.

Product and Development
work
For this project, my team and I were assigned a clothing brand and required to make a new collection for them, three new items for Mango s/s '25 Men's, Women's, and Kids. We had to immerse ourselves in the brand Mango, learn about the history, how it started, where it is today, brand aesthetic, silhouettes, colors, and more. Research fashion forecasting and create products we believe would be successful. As a part of the color team, I helped create a master color palette for the upcoming season, including accent and key colors that fit into Mango. I was also the textile designer for men's wear, creating three different patterns/motifs for their new s/s '25 line.
Digital Design Work

Final project: Art Board Presentation. From my Cyclones Take NY project. I used the logos on multiple different vessels to provide options and ideas of where you could take it. For this project, we had to include elements of our inspiration, tech flats, Pantone colors, and logo ideas. I took my inspiration from the iconic Iowa State University bridge you see when you enter campus. My next idea to keep it in the cyclone area was to add elements of a storm, even tying it directly to Iowa because Iowa definitely has some crazy weather.
Computer applications class:
3D Mockups using Illustrator & Photoshop
Using ai generator and mock-up generator to help facilitate ideas and show potential options.
Creating your own logos and applying them to a mock-up.

Computer applications class:
Using Illustrator and Photoshop to Digitally Reflect Sketched Ideas. Create sketches on illustrator and digitally render patterns and fabrics on both sketches and tech flats.

Eveningwear Board:
Cali:Off the shore
This eveningwear board inspired by the night life of California. The sun setting on the oceans as you look out from a fancy envent overlooking the coast and the water. My first look is the repersentation of the crashing waves, I used sequence to inhance the look of the wave to show the bubbles when the wave crashes. My second look is the fade of the sky as the sun is setting on the horizon turning into night. The median used was markers

Alexander McQueen inspired board:
Zipped Flowers
Our task for this board was to take inspiration from one of Alexander McQueens collections and create two looks that would fit into his collection. I took inspiration from is 1997 S/S collection La Poupée. This collection was about the manipulation of dolls and how the fictional body reflects into the real world, while still incorperating McQueen's love of nature. In this collection he used a lot of sheer/shiney fabrics, zipper applicaes, and fun prints. I took those elements and created something that I believe would fit the collection, while giving it my own personal and creative touches. The median used was markers

Brand Board: Award Worthy
This board was to be inspired by your own brand/ brand logo. I had created my brand and brand logo in my brand image class. We were to take our logo and correlate it to two looks. I thought my logo shows luxury and elegance. I imaganed designing a redcarpet look for Anja Taylor Joy during award show season. I took into acount what styles, colors, and silouettes she has wore in the past to come up with something fitting for her look. I used the swirls and flower edges of my logo as a moftif for the shawl and sheer fabric wrapping the dress in the second look. The median used was markers.
Art Inspired Board: Claude Monet

The task for this board was to choose one artist any type and choose two-three piece of their work to draw inspiration from. My look is inspired by Claude Monet's bridge over water lillies, water lillies, and Woman with the parasol . These looks are for spring summer in Europe targetning men who enjoy art and who aren't afraid to step out of their comfot zone with fashion while still being able to wear these looks to work and day to day. The median I used was water color.

Brand Collab Childrenswear: Coastal life
This board was about choosing a company that did not already have a childrens line and create two looks for them. I chose American Eagle. I took inspiration from fabrics commonly used in their clothes, vibe/aesthetic, and tthe simple but very versitile pieces thtey create. This is for Fall Winter, focused on the eastern coast, age range from 4-6. A mother dressing her children for a holiday event, or family photos.
This assignment was to create a lingerie or swimwear line. I chose to create a lingerie line inspired by the story of the Arabian nights, and a bit of Aladin. I loooked a Fleur Du Mal, which is a luxurey lingerie brand for fabric conent inspiration. I focused on using a sheer element and a lot of gold jewlery representing the shiney treasure from the story, and to give the person wearing it the feeling that they are the treasure themselves. The median used was water color.

Lingerie Board:

Businesswear Board:Office Latte
This is my first digital design board, our task was to create a two looks that you could wear to your office. I chose Fall/Winter for my season and took a take on the "office siren" trend but made it "office latte" for the cozier Fall/Winter aesthetic in a place like NYC. The median used on the fashion illustration is water color.

Brand Inspired Board Nike: Pilates Girl and Gym Bro
For this board, we were tasked to pick a brand and make a collection that would fit them. I chose to make a collection for Nike. My season is spring/ summer 26; I focused on bright, vibrant colors that Nike tends to use in their summer clothes. My story behind the board is that this is a gym influencer couple on tiktok; she mainly takes the lead to make their outfits match for their workout videos. These looks are very versatile, and they can go from recording themselves walking around and running around to unzipping and taking off pieces to working out. The median used was markers
Pattern Rendering Board
This Board was to work on creating our own patterns and learning how to manipulate the pattern onto a garment itself. I colored them in with watercolor and chose a simple dress to make a technical flat of and add the patterns to.

Fashion Illustration Board
This is a Fashion Illustration Board. Our task was to create two illustrations with a cohesive theme, target market, and aesthetic. While color-matching our outfits to real fabrics we found in our class room.
Historical Fashion Board
For this board our task was to pick a decade and a design from that decade to take inspiration from. I chose the 1990's and Gianni Versace as my designer. More specifically I chose his iconic bongage looks with the use of black leather straps and gold acents.

Mini Design Line: Holiday Party
My final project in my AMD 178 Introduction to design class. My inspiration was the holiday season, Christmas trees, and the Nutcracker ballet.
